About James Omohundro, M.D.
Dr. Omohundro was born and raised in the Kansas City area. He attended college at Drake University in Des Moines, IA and earned his medical degree at The University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed his residency in pediatrics at The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine, followed by a stint of locum tenens assignments in Alaska and Arizona.
He spent 3 years at an Indian Health Service Hospital on the Navajo Reservation in Chinle, AZ, and most recently lived in Madison, WI where he practiced at Access Community Health Centers, another Federally Qualified Health Center.
Dr. Omohundro approaches patient care with kindness and compassion and strives to educate his patients about health and wellness in order to maximize their well-being.
Outside of work, Dr. Omohundro loves to socialize with family and friends and enjoys active outdoor pursuits, including running, biking, hiking and skiing.
