Elisia Barber, FNP Family Nurse Practitioner

Elisia grew up between Hadley-Luzerne and Glens Falls and values her role in improving the health of her local community. She is a firm believer that good health requires more than medical care, and her goal is to work with people, their families and community resources to promote the best health outcomes while addressing social and emotional needs.

Elisia began her career in health care as a nurse in a group home. She enjoyed going to medical appointments and advocating for residents’ needs, and eventually she brought her nursing skills to Hudson Headwaters. When the pandemic hit, she was inspired to expand her knowledge and pursue her full potential as a nurse practitioner.

When Elisia is not at work, you can likely find her in her garden. She grows mostly flowers and likes to arrange them and share them with others. She also enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband, children and friends.
