Arianne Wilson, M.D. Family Medicine Physician

From a very early age, Dr. Wilson’s academic interests, curiosity and experiences with learning about the field of medicine all aligned, sending her on this career path. Along the way, she was drawn to Family Medicine due to the opportunity for physician-patient relationships, the longitudinal nature of care and the combination of diagnostics, advocacy and community involvement that’s unique to this specialty.

Dr. Wilson joined Hudson Headwaters because the values of this organization, and Federally Qualified Health Centers in general, resonate with her own. She is also a native of Saranac Lake who looked forward to returning home after her education and training were complete.

As a primary care provider, Dr. Wilson’s priority is to empower each patient to be an active participant in their own health care journey, fostering a partnership where well-informed decisions are made together. She believes in providing patients with the knowledge and understanding of their health status and conditions and is an advocate for health equity, working to eliminate disparities in access and quality of care.

Outside of work, Dr. Wilson enjoys spending time with her family, friends and cats, traveling, reading, baking and cooking, cross-country skiing and experiencing the beautiful outdoors. She occasionally dabbles in crafts, like embroidery and drawing.
