CARES: The Task Force for Health Equity

As a nonprofit, Federally Qualified Health Center, Hudson Headwaters’ mission has always been to welcome all community members of diverse experiences and backgrounds to access health care in our centers.

About the Task Force

By mission and design, community health centers have long been involved in work to advance DEI. Keeping this work at the forefront of our efforts, Hudson Headwaters’ CARES Task Force regularly engages in strategic review and planning to better our workplace and expand belonging and accessibility for diverse patients and employees. CARES stands for Culturally Appropriate Resources and Education Services.

Our Mission

To provide the best health care, and access to that care, for everyone in our communities.

Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Statement

The health and well-being of our employees, patients and community start with a foundation of respect for each other.
