About Lisa Skarling, M.D.
Lisa Skarling, M.D. was drawn to Hudson Headwaters by her desire to practice in a rural clinic that partners with its community, responds to diverse and changing health care needs and fosters a culture of life-long learning. She feels it’s an honor to build supportive relationships with patients of all ages and help them make informed decisions about their health.
Whether she sees a patient once or for years, being someone’s doctor is a privilege Dr. Skarling doesn’t take for granted. She believes good communication is key to good primary care and feels it’s her job to make sure patients are comfortable and empowered.
Outside of work, Dr. Skarling loves hiking, cross-country skiing, knitting, playing a variety of instruments, learning new things and cooking with her wife and their toddler.
